Copper engraving, hand colored in outline when published. This antique map shows Europe with his neighboring countries. Inside the map are many place names, rivers, mountains, etc. In the upper right corner we find the allegoric title cartouche and in the lower right corner a cartouche with the mileage scale. At the lower left corner we see a inset map which shows the 'Fortunatae Insulae', the Canary Islands.
